Biography


I began my career at Columbia University School of Social Work. After completing my coursework and two internships, one at the Bernard S. Gimble Multiple Sclerosis Comprehensive Care Center at Holyname Hospital in Teaneck, and the other at Family and Child Guidance Center of the Oranges, I went on to various Social Work positions in a Hospital, Mental Health Clinic, and School.

During my internships, I received training in Child and Family Therapy. I began my Private Practice in Montclair, New Jersey in 1991. 

I have taught within the Psychology Department at New Jersey City University. I have had additional advanced training in :

Energy Psychotherapy
Emotional Freedom Techniques
Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I draw from a broad range of theoretical models to work psychotherapeutically, combining evidence-based practices to work with adults, adolescents, families and couples.
